Swim Instructor/Coach

Scubaland is forming a swim program designed for divers and non-divers of all ages who would like to become better swimmers.  We are looking for part time swim instructors or coaches that would like to help design and operate the program.

Store Staff

Full time and part time positions available for those with retail experience and a love of diving.  Store staff responsibilities include sales, inventory management, training support, and promotional activities.  If you are a fun person and want to be more involved in the dive industry, working in a dive store is a good place to start. 

Training is available and store staff members receive equipment discounts, opportunities to attend manufacturer training seminars.  Many opportunities exist to build additional skills such as becoming an instructor or a repair technician.

Instructional Staff

PADI Instructors and Divemasters are welcome.  Certified dive professionals from other training agencies that are interested in crossing over are also welcome.  We have staff and contract instructor positions available for regularly scheduled as well as private courses. 

Benefits include equipment discounts, access to pool, classrooms, rental gear, etc.  We are also a 5-Star IDC for those instructors looking for additional ratings like Master SCUBA Diver Trainer, IDC Staff Instructor, and Master Instructor.

Web Development and Technical

• Technical Support.  Experience with PC based hardware, Microsoft desktop and server operating systems, and networking is required.  This is a part time position primarily responsible for infrastructure and some software applications.
   
• Web Design and Development.  This position is responsible for website design, graphics development, and ongoing maintenance of a number of websites used to support both SCUBA and travel activities.  Some web application development experience would also be a benefit.
   
• ECommerce Design and Development.  Scubaland is beginning to develop some basic ecommerce capabilities including online catalog and shopping cart functionality.  We are also migrating some of our multi-store support applications for course management and inventory control to web applications to facilitate future stores.  We're looking for individuals with experience using Microsoft development technologies and basic project management skills.

Equipment Technician

Part time positions available for those interested in servicing SCUBA equipment.  We are particularly interested in those that already hold certified technician ratings for Scubapro, Oceanic, Atomic, TUSA, and others.  Training is available.
