I took my PADI Open Water course while living in Hawaii in 1977.  Just 33 years later I decided that it was time to give back to the sport that has given me so many great experiences, so I worked my way up to Open Water Scuba Instructor.  Now I am in a position where I can share my experience and help introduce new divers to the sport.

Over the years I have had the great fortune to be able to dive all over Mexico, the Bahamas and the Caribbean.  One of my favorite places to dive is Roatan.  You can get there quickly, it has easy diving and they have done a good job of protecting their reefs.

Locally, I often dive in Lake Travis and when I'm not under the water, my wife and I are usually on top of it in our sailboat.
