I took my first SCUBA course as my PE credit in the fall semester of 2005 at Stephen F. Austin State University. I fell in love with SCUBA after my very first pool session. After finishing my Open Water certification, they were kind enough to give me a job at Diver’s Depot so I could continue my diving education. Once I finished college, I moved back to Austin and eventually started working at Scubaland in April 2009, and in October 2009 I became a PADI Open Water Instructor. I also have a lot of travel experience because I have been travelling to Europe since I was a baby, and since I have started diving I have been fortunate enough to have been diving in Florida, Gulf Coast Oil Rigs, Roatan, Belize, and Fiji.
