PADI Open Water Diver Course

Checklists

We want your classroom, pool, and open water checkouts to be as comfortable and fun as possible.  Many of our students have told us that having the following items available helps.

Classroom

  • watch the video or DVD and read the book (before coming to class)
  • bring your crew pack and your completed knowledge reviews
  • if you answer "Yes" to any of the medical conditions, bring a signed release from a doctor

    Pool

  • swimming suit
  • towel
  • mask (scrub your mask before first use - ask us for details on how to do this)
  • de-fog solution
  • fins
  • snorkel
  • booties
  • drinks/snacks
    •

    Lake

  • everything you brought to the pool, plus...
  • wetsuit (if needed)
  • SCUBA equipment
  • sunscreen
  • jacket/sweatshirt
