Master Scuba Diver Instructor Course
Course cost $750, not incl. materials
Course Length: 4 Days (for standard course, some specialties may require
additional days)
Prerequisites to entry: PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.
Suggested & Required Preparations: Same as above.
Description: Our MSDT program consists of U/W Navigation, Deep
Diver, Search & Recovery, U/W Night, and Wreck Diver
specialty instructor courses.
This course can be modified to suit your needs/preferences (some selections may
change the course cost). As an Open
Water Scuba Instructor who can teach five specialties, once you have issued 25
diver certifications at any level, you will be able to apply for the rating of
PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT).
Specialty Instructor Course
Course cost $150, not incl. materials
Course Length: 1 Day (per specialty, multiple specialties may require
additional days)
Prerequisites to entry: PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.
Suggested & Required Preparations: (Required) Have access
to, and review, the appropriate Specialty Instructor Outlines.
(Suggested) Have 10 required experience dives in the specialty taken.
These dives may be completed after the instructor training class and prior to submission for the
certification.
Description: Each Specialty requires its own set of skills and
requirements. Please contact Scubaland for details specific to each one.
Scubaland offers Specialty Instructor Training in the following: AWARE Fish ID, Boat Diver,
Deep Diver, Drift Diver, Dry Suit Diver, Enriched Air Diver, Limited Visibility
Diver (our Distinctive Specialty), Multilevel/Computer Diver, Night Diver,
Search & Recovery, U/W Naturalist, U/W Navigator, U/W Photographer, and
Wreck Diver.
PADI Status Update
Course cost $250, not incl. materials
Course Length: Varies with individual requirements
Prerequisites to entry: Call
Suggested & Required Preparations: Varies as necessary.
Description: The status update is conducted as necessary for PADI
SCUBA instructors and above who are directed to take this training to continue
or regain teaching status. Please call for details.
