DSAT TEC Course

The DSAT Tec-Deep course is the most unique, challenging and comprehensive Tec diver training course in the dive industry. If you are interested in exploring diving in more “depth”, then the DSAT Tec Deep Diver course will be enormously rewarding.

Tec 1

Tec 1 is 7 dives long and teaches technical dive techniques, skills and procedures to conduct extended range multi gas no decompression dives which will increase your dive times dramatically beyond recreational diving limits whilst staying within NDL. These dives can be started at Aquarena (first 2) but will be completed at Lake Travis.

Prerequisites for Tec 1:

Certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water (or equivalent)
Minimum of 18 years of age
Certified as a PADI Enriched Air Diver (or equivalent)
Certified as a PADI Deep Diver (or equivalent) OR have 20 logged dives deeper than 100’
Have a minimum of 50 logged dives – of which 10 were made using Nitrox, 12 dives that were deeper than 60’ and at least 6 dives deeper than 100’

Tec 1 course $795.00 ($995 if private) plus crewpack ($85).

Tec 2

Tec 2 is 5 dives long, and refines and further develops your skills plus extends your diving range to 165’ with full accelerated decompression using gas mixes up to 100% oxygen. All dives at Lake Travis.

Prerequisites for Tec 2:

Certified as a PADI Rescue Open Water (or equivalent)
Minimum of 18 years of age
Certified as a PADI Enriched Air Diver (or equivalent)
Certified as a PADI Deep Diver (or equivalent) OR have 20 logged dives deeper than 100’
Have a minimum of 100 logged dives – of which 20 were made using Nitrox, 25 dives that were deeper than 60’ and at least 15 dives deeper than 100’
