Phillip Peeler
PADI Master SCUBA Diver Trainer
Instructor since
Phillip began diving in July 2008 when helping with a Paladin Community Services youth event. He fell in love with the underwater world of Lake Amistad and quickly became friends with his Instructors, Charlie Rogers and Victor Bruno. He continued his diving education acheiving PADI's Master Diver certification before becoming a Divemaster in 2011. In May 2016, Phillip continued his training and became an Open Water Scuba Instructor trained by E.K. Sowell.
Phillip enjoys teaching the PADI Open Water class and feels its very rewarding to see his students' lives opened to the underwater world. He enjoys sharing his passion for scuba with new divers and always welcomes his students to join him for fun dives at Lake Travis, Canyon Lake, Lake Amistad, or any other area dive spots.
Although Phillip loves diving lakes and rivers in the region, his favorite dives have been in Cozumel. He enjoys the deep drift dives on the Columbia Pinnacles and San Francisco Wall as well as the shallow night dives in Paraiso.
Phillip plans to continue his professional education to Master Instructor and spend his life experiencing the world both above and below the surface. You will often find him in the store assisting customers or at a local lake with students to build upon his experience in pursuit of his dreams. He always looks forward to hearing about customers' travels and adventures, so stop in to introduce yourself and share your favorite adventure with him.
